What should i get for a cpu?

Theres a deal i saw for the msi z97 sli krait that comes with the amd fx 4350.

But the mother board itself is 109.99$

But i was recommended the intel i5 4590 which is 198.99$

The combo is 204.99$ (msi sli w/amd

Which is better amd fx 4350 or the intel i5 4590 and which of them is better for gaming,recording,& editing

A 4590 is FARRR better, but if you're getting a Z97 board you should get a 4690k instead. 

 

A 4350 also won't fit on a Z97 board. The bundle is probably a 4350+970Krait board.

A z97 krait with a fx4350...? Odd combo they aren't compatible

 

Do you mean the 970 Krait?

 

The 4590 is better in all aspects than the 4350, apart from price I guess.

Z97 board with FX 4350???

 

It won't work.

 

Get the Intel 4590. It's way better.

unless u wanna do a 200$ pc build dont go amd :P intel all the way ( amd all the way for 200$ builds haha )

 

if u can get a intel i5 4590 for 198.99$ , u might wanna look at a 4690k aswell ( paying 20-30extra buck is worth it in the long run due to oc, if ur going z87/z97 anyways )

Well the FX cpu won't fit in a Z97 board those have a 1150 socket while FX cpu's use the am3+ socket. And still the FX-4350 is a pretty bad CPU.

get the 4590. or even better, the 4690k to go with the z97 motherboard,
