Mad Max expectations?

I would really like to buy mad max because it looks very good and is only 20euro on g2a however I am skeptical considering that warner brothers is publishing. Then again, avalanche are the devs and so far they are promising so what do you guys think? How do you think this game will turn out and whether it is worth it!?

Going to be honest and say, I pre-ordered it myself.

Looks a lot like Rage, with the combination of Batman fighting style.

They have been publishing a lot of footage of the game, so I'm assuming they're happy with it.,

I prefer to buy my games cheap after they are released, reviewed and fixed.

If you are hesitant on buying this game, wait for reviews =p

From what ive seen it looks pretty cool and something i want to get my hands on but i will probably not buy on day 1 just because i have few other games i need to play at the moment =p

As with any game, I encourage everyone to wait for the game to be released and then look at reviews, port reports etc. That way you'll be more informed and be able to make a better decision on whether or not the game is worth your money. 

 

WB has had a mostly awful track record on PC recently (Mortal Kombat X, Arkham Knight). Avalanche's track record, whilst mostly good isn't squeaky clean (The Hunter: Primal).

 

I understand the appeal of a discounted price, just understand that if you go ahead with the purchase, you're taking a risk (and personally, I think it's a very big one based on WB's recent shenanigans). Don't expect a 100% guarantee that the game will be everything your expecting it to be.

There are no expectations, in my opinion. It will release, there will be independent reviews available, and then we can decide if we want to buy it based on the word of someone other than the party selling it. Pre-ordering is never worth what you give up for it, which is why Warner Bros. wants you to do it so badly.
