I got a build costing around $600. This build is for upgrading when have sufficient money so I am sticking to a Z87 MOBO.

Don't get an SSD for your budget build... its not smart... get a WD black or blue 1tb HDD

The downside of the second build's motherboard is limited memory expandability, but other than that not much. Yeah it only has 2 6GB/s sata ports, but you only have two devices that need it.
