I have a 3TB black HDD which ive just installed into my computer, but according to "my Computer" it is saying 1.99TB and in Disk Manager has a Partion of 2048.00 GB and 746.52GB Unallocated. I have reformatted the Disk. I seem io cant merge the two partions together.

Im not sure what else to do

MBR only supports 2TB, convert it to GPT

About your size issue, the reason is your computer is MBR, which supporting the maximum disk capacity is 2TB. Your HDD is 3TB, but computer just can read 2TB, the other part belongs to unallocated space. And the unallocated space can not be used. So, this is why 2048.00GB space you can use,but another 746.52GB space cant. 

 

If you want to use more space, maybe you need to convert MBR to GPT. But you need to make sure the motherboard mode of  your computer. If it is BIOS, you can not convert to GPT; if it is UEFI, you can.

 

The first way is Command prompt: cmd--disk part-- list disk--select disk 0--clean---convert gpt. I have to tell you this way need to clean your whole disk.

Other way is Minitool PW bootable CD. It can convert to GPT in booting mode and does not damage your system.
