Is the price difference of the 980Ti over the 390X worth it in my case?

MSI 390X: $570

Strix GTX 980Ti: $900

From what I've seen the Strix 980Ti gets 25-30FPS more on average at 1080p. Getting the 390X would allow me to upgrade sooner though...

The R9 Fury is $750, more than a 980, barely performs better. Sad really.

Can you find any other sites with similar results? All other sites I see place the Fury at 4-5FPS over the 390X...

just search up r9 fury review. They all say the same.
