Headlamp for building PCs

Go to solution Solved by TheProfosist,

@Charger found what I was looking https://goo.gl/bmPPOz

So with the JETBeam HR25 Headlamp recently being on Massdrop https://goo.gl/rZvnBj

The only thing its missing its missing is a diffuser. My Petzel MYO RXP really made me appreciate it. I have one on my Mini Maglite LED Pro as well. The petzl is still going strong even though its over 3 years old now but I wouldn't mind something that is a bit brighter and runs quite a bit longer. Thing is I need a diffuser or the ability to add one.

Does anyone have any suggestions for this?

>.> I want something quality. Have you ever used a good headlamp?

Ive been looking at the Petzl MYO RXP 2 http://goo.gl/R93jUV but the one on massdrop showed that there is probably something better available. The hard part is finding one that has diffuser or can be fitted with one.

People here have lots of experience with all sorts of things so I thought I would ask.

What do you really need the diffuser for? Just curious.

I've only ever used cheap ones, but never had a problem with any of them (other than various family members losing them).

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

Diffuser basically makes it a flood light that is much wider and even across its entirety. This super useful for most thing actually but especially when your working on something like a PC where you can illuminate the entire area your working on rather than just specifically what its pointed at. I would have to take pics or find some to demonstrate it really.

is 3 years a long time? I replaced my fenix flash light as my edc after 6 years and it still works

as for the question I'm not really sure of a place that makes nice lights that have a diffuser for them but I have wanted a zebra headlamp for years

The ones I've used always had a wide beam setting that did the same thing. They all had multiple LED's and in one mode would be like a high beam, and another like a flood light.

no but its long enough where there are better models coming out now, even from the same company. The biggest thing is runtime at the current brightness I have now but brighter wouldnt be bad.

Most better lights just have one LED, the better the bigger.

Here is an example of the one I got for my Mini Maglite Pro http://goo.gl/7A5eal

you could always just get a light and make a diffusor for it

this is true and that Surefire F04 is great so as long as it could fit over the end it could probably do the job after a mod or two. i just surprised there arnt more options...
