hello,

 i have a computer that has a 500watt power supply iball and i was wondering that do i need 500-600 watt ups because my ups gives me 360 watts...intex 725 protector...monitor speakers are unplug...it was giving me problem with monitor n speakers....overload problem..so do i need or not....is it ok to go with my ups

 

my spec:-

i7 3770 1155 3.4ghz with deepcool gamemaxx 200 cooler

gpu:-asus strix 970 oc 4gb

ram:- 8gb

motherboard:-h61m plus

Even so the wattage for your components is in the right range I'd say. Although not quite sure what the UPS is referring to..

but ups is working on 500w pc.....without any problem....but it shouldnt start the pc because it gives 360w.....

 

i dont play games on ultra settings..just only high settings..

It could quite possibly be that the graphics card is not on full load at the time? Graphic cards tend to use way less power when on idle, so that could be the case, however when the graphics card is on load it can reach quite a high amount

ok...is it possible graphics related glitches to be caused by power supply...

That could be possible depending on your PSU model, although I think the wattage is normal for your graphics card, so it could possibly be your PSU or GPU in that situation

A UPS doesn't need to be larger than the wattage of your PSU but larger than your max wattage from your PC at load and peripherals/networking equipment.

 

i would recommend something from APC since most of the off brand UPS's while decent may not be the best of quality:
