I have a G100s, I keep swiping too fast and bugging out my sensor. I need something with the most similar shape and preferably a PMW-3310.

I already tried the G303 so that's off the list.

I was going to say the 303 lol. I never noticed that problem with my g100s but then again I had my sensitivity at 4+ and dpi at 4000 for cs go I could turn 360 in less then an inch of movement lol.

Since I'm not much help maybe @TheProfosist will know something.

yeah I'm playing 2.2 at 400 dpi.. when I need to turn, I turn a little quick, I still need to replace it anyway. Thank you though. I actually have the g303 on my counter waiting to be returned..

the mice I have are the g100s, g400s, g402, g600, g602 and the only one I bought of them was the g100s the rest I got from @TheProfosist when he broke then or got replacements for them. He seems to collect mice so I hope he can help with a recommendation more then I can.

Maybe the Razer Abyssus 2014. If the 3310 is a big deal and you don't mind spending extra, get the Zowie ZA11.

Laptop: Intel Core i5-4200H, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce 840M

Desktop: Intel Core i3-6100, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce GTX 750 Ti

G303 would be a decent choice but its going to be a bit smaller with a slightly different grip.

Since that is a NO I guess what do you like about the G100s?

I would have said yes to the older one but not the newer one as it looks much flatter. That is one mouse i dont have in either flavors though.

I just got the Mamba TE, it fits the grip I was using with my g100s.

I am of the rare breed some of you call fingertip grip users, I only use my fingers to move my mouse, and I like to keep my ring finger inbetween the RMB and right side, the little flat spot inbetween is perfect and this is the only mouse I can find it on, I hate rubber, but compromise is compromise. I love it, even though I've never been big on Razer sensors.

My only tips would be dont touch the chroma configurator. Also add your mousepad and set the lift off as low as possible.

The new Phillips Twin Eye sensor is pretty nice.

Well, damn, I must swipe slow then! I have a Kana V2 and G100s. The Kana V2 does 60ips max and when I play CS I can snap a 180 really quickly with no sensor malfunction. Haven't tried it on the G100s but it does 120ips max but only consistenly up to 100ips, apparently.

When I had my G402 I think my fastest recorded swipe was about 125-130 ips.

Just Manufacturer Spec.

You seem to know a lot about mice, is it just me or is steelseries lacking in their sensor department? A lot of their mice have the old sensors that have accel and prediction (according to what I've read, I've only used the sensei raw and it wasn't perfect but it wasn't terrible) other than the Rival. I love their gear but am skeptical about their mice, considering I didn't like the Rival.

The rival has one of the best sensors. You have to remember that the rival is actually their latest "new" mouse design. I do think that semi recently they did hint at a new mouse.

He rival is designed for more of a high palm grip meaning you grip it more on the top and your hand is more forward. This differs from my low palm grip where you grip it more from the back. Most of the more ergonomic logitech mice are for this grip and the DA's shape is our bliss as well.

Changing from A9500 to something else would require different components and a pcb redesign, which is not justifiable from any kind of POV.

Rival (300) uses PMW3310 which is the new mid end standard, Kana v2 used A3090, Kinzu V3 was- and Rival 100 is using A3050, which in combination with good FW is sufficient for low cpi usage, Kana v1 and Kinzu v2 are both using 3305dk which is also sufficient for low cpi usage, the Kana V1 more due to the 0.5 Lens which halves CPI and dpubles malfunction speed, comes with homeopathic doses of angle snapping. Ikari Optical had the A3060 with A3080 SROM, which was basically the only option at that time, and Ikari Laser used ONS which had a really high Updaterate and had huge potential.

The only real objective fail has been the Kinzu V1 with the VT5366, which ironically comes from the same company which developed MLT04.

The rival has one of the best sensors. You have to remember that the rival is actually their latest "new" mouse design.

That´s relative considering current Options, not to mention that 3310 comes with its own shortcomings.
