Don't bother with a 4gb 960, it has virtually no increase in performance over the 2gb model.

 

If you can fine a 280X in your area for the same price, jump on that, it performs better, and has 1gb more of usable vram.

Vram is the memory on the card. The gtx 960 has either, 2gbs of Gddr5 Vram, or 4gbs of Gddr5 Vram.

 

The 280X has 3gbs of Vram.

under 230$ im looking for a card that will run it smoothly and look good, im from colorado and planned on buying it at best buy. Im gonna be using it on a 2320 i5.

the differences are only visual 

performance-wise they should all perform the same. maybe one is a litle higher clocked and get 1 fps more in games but turbo boost would take kare of that

i'd say that you should choose the cooler that appeals you the most but at the same time think about if it;'s worth those $60 to buy from bestbuy
