desk height question

im having issues with the current height of my pc desk. the height to the top surface is 29 inches. the height to the keyboard slide out tray thing is 25 inches. when i use the top surface to game i feel like im having to kinda reach up and cant get a comfortable position for my elbows on my chair. if i use the pull out keyboard thing im able to get more comfortable but it feels like im looking up at the screen and it kinda gives me a headache after a while. its an old pc desk from the 90s so idk if between that time like a standard height was adopted for like all desks. dont get me wrong its a REALLY nice real wood desk. its just the height and size of the keyboard tray are really annoying. if i bought a new desk would the keyboard trays height be different or is a 4 to 5 inch offset height like standard?

How tall are you? I find 27 inches to be to low...

I'm 5 foot 9ish yeah I'm really short for a guy. I'm Hispanic... where generally not the tallest things around;)
