Hi there.

I am currently setting up a program at the hospital i work at, that will keep track of how many portions of food the kitchen has to make for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The hospital is set up with 5 smaller kitchen's that serves food in the different departments, and a larger kitchen that makes the food.

Each of the 5 departments has to order food trough a web site, so a tablet seems like a better choice then a computer, however there are some requirements for them.

- Has to be easy to use, workers range from 18 - 60 years old.

- I have to be able to lock installation of games and other apps, some of the younger workers would rather play candy crush then work.

- Has to be easy to clean, will be used close to food.

- Does not have to be watertight, but has to survive some rouge water splash, and general kitchen mess.

- Android is not a requirement, but since i have never used IOS i would prefer it.

- Battery life is not an issue, as these will be used about 30-60 min a day.

- Price is not an issue, but i cant justify buying 5 surface pro 3's just to use a website.

In advanced, thanks for any and all replies.

If you choose to go to the iOS side most older people find it easier to use (experience with my grandmother) and it has guided access which allows you to stay in only one app. You will have to put a case on it though to make it more durable

But iPad are not rough so if you wish to go to the android side you might want to consider one of the notes which are very productive
