First time using this forum d;

Anyways, I was on Toms Hardware looking around, asking for the best possible PC for around £800, and this guy said everything is good apart from your power supply.

This build : http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/gXLxMp

Then, I ask about the cooling on another post I made, and then all of a sudden, this guy comes out with "Your PC is made for overclocking, and your GPU price is silly", and then makes me a PC roughly the same price, with a better GPU and air cooling instead. That build : http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/Np3Vzy

Now I am just stuck. I don't really know which one to go for.

Please help

P.S Sorry for going a bit off topic

id go for the second build. The main changes are 960>970 (more powerful graphics card) and changing the I5 from a 'K'  (unlocked multiplyer and allows for overclocking) to a non 'k' version of the same processor. I guess as this is you first pc you wont be overclocking it at all so yeah go for the second build its the best of the two IMO.

Go for the second build or the build from above. Except NEX series PSU. Get G2 series or GS series instead.

PCPartPicker part list: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/36h6zy

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor  (£172.99 @ Aria PC)

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler  (£24.95 @ Aria PC)

Motherboard: ASRock H97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  (£60.97 @ Amazon UK)

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  (£38.08 @ Dabs)

Storage: Sandisk Solid State Drive 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  (£40.25 @ CCL Computers)

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  (£38.98 @ CCL Computers)

Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 390 8GB Video Card  (£264.99 @ Amazon UK)

Case: Corsair SPEC-02 ATX Mid Tower Case  (£56.99 @ Amazon UK)

Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply  (£37.99 @ Scan.co.uk)

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 OEM (64-bit)  (£75.24 @ CCL Computers)

Total: £811.43

I'd choose Windows 8.1 key then install it through USB and upgrade to 10 with the free upgrade which will save some money on the optical drive. the R9 390 will give some a little more performance than the 970. I've also went back the the i5 4690k with a cheaper Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO cooler which is a very good cooler for it's price. And for the PSU I've went for a EVGA 80+ Bronze Power Supply which is good enough for your build.

Well, this forum is good, I'll tell you that for sure! :D

But now, I don't know what to choose from! xD

There are so many options here. I might look into getting the R9 390 8GB, that's for sure.

I like Morgan MLGman's build, and Altecice makes me want the second option.

THERE'S TOO MUCH TOO CHOOSE!

No the difference is not worth the extra $100

Get the R9 390 NITRO or the WINDFORCE or STRIX ! They will be on par with a reference 390X
