Hello, here is my system build

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/DrMacintosh/saved/LwgH99

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if the R9 390 will work fine with the Corsair CX 600 PSU

I don't plan on over-clocking the GPU or the CPU even though I have a 4690k

Do not buy a CX600 for $45.

Spend the extra 5 bucks and get a far superior unit: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-110b20750vr

I already own everything except the GPU

Id recommend the 720W Seasonic M12ii, i just got a 520W version in my old core 2 duo pc after the cheap one died, 3 days later the gpu fan bearing went so im back t a broken pc (lol).

Very good reviews on reputable power supply sites, Jonny guru rates it 9.8 (i think). for the price it is one of the most reliable PSU's you can get. It wont kill the rest of your pc if you push it too far.

Long answer:
Yes, but if you dont have it/can return it, get a different, higher quality one.

Can't you return it?

Hah, no. I got it months ago. Ive been doing some looking around. The CX600M is a pretty stable PSU and according to various people it should be able to run it. My build will use about ~422W leaving me with about a 178W gap. As long as I keep the clocks stock it should be able to stay alive.

I could get a MSI R9 290 instead of the 390. I only game at 1080 and the games I play aren't that intensive (my current hardware doesn't allow for the latest games AMD Radeon HD 6750M is my GPU atm) and the 290 is only ~$290 the only thing is the heat is way worse. It does use less power however. Brings the build down to 397W vs. 422W

290 and 390, power consumption and heat output are pretty much the same.

Really? from what I have seen the 390 is significantly cooler than the 290. At least the MSI versions. I guess I have to get the 390 from Amazon (gonna use Bing rewards to shave off $10 from the price :) thank you MS) because NewEgg ran out of 290s.
