Updating the firmware might help aswell.

Perhaps you got some cat hair in your sensor? [Happens to me all the time]

Yes, firmware might be the problem.  I looked on the SteelSeries website a while ago and it said there was a firmware update for the mouse but the software didn't tell me there was.

Ive done it (allready had it) but there is still allot of input lagg....

What monitor do you have?

Have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in again? ;)  If it's in a USB 3.0 port, try a 2.0.

Install the firmware from this link: http://steelseries.com/support/downloads just click on the Diablo III mouse and select the firmware update, then install the drivers for the mouse from the same page.

Yeah, even tried resetting the pc to a point that it worked and downloaded the firmware again.... still nothing

When I updated the firmware for mine it took about 15 minutes.  Try uninstall all drivers for the mouse and then updating the firmware so there's nothing interrupting it and then when the firmware has successfully updated, install the SteelSeries driver again.  You might need to use the SteelSeries Firmware Repair Tool if the firmware doesn't work properly.

What kind of surface are you using the mouse on? Rough, smooth, mousepad? Clean out the sensor, perhaps?
