I was looking at the GTX 750TI but is there a video card that performs a bit better or something? I was looking at the R7 265.

265 and 750 ti are essentially tied for the most part

If I was you I'd go ahead and get a 7870k and a better motherboard.  You can add a video card in later.  The 7870k performs about the same as a R7-250 graphically, which isn't much different than the 265 realistically.

 

Getting a 7870k now, then adding a R9-390 later on will be a GREAT build where you wouldn't be wasting any money.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

I'll probably end up building a better computer in a few years. I want to see how AMD is before going back to Intel.

There is an enormous difference between an R7 250 and an R7 265
