Best solution to getting a strong connection

My router is on my main floor which is 2 floors below where my computer is. What is the best solution for getting a strong connection?

Best solution would be a hardwire. Next best would likely be powerline, but the speeds and reliability will depend on the wiring in the building.

route a lan cable all the way up. booster could be a way too.

or just buy 20m patch cable and run it through windows/stairs or any hole or something.
