SSD for OS and some ( not games)

Tedol

I will take 2Tb Samsung 850 EVO  for game

I have 2 HDD for media

Sooo... Is it smart to take PCI-e SSD for OS or normal sata SSD will be enough

And what brand you can recommend for this ?!

This depends on the mobo you're using....Some of them just plain aren't compatible to boot from.

My pick for an OS is actually samsungs sm951 if you can find a NVMe version,, and it's natively compaitble with your bios.

again with compatibility for your mobo, but I do love my samsung xp941. like previous post while it may be compatible with your OS, you need to make sure it is natively compatible with your bios to be able to boot from it.

A 2tb ssd for games? You're wasting your money my friend.

Either way pci-e ssds don't make sense unless you're editing high bitrate videos a LOT. Either go for m.2 (if your motherboard has the slot) or simply use your sata 3 ssd, it will be plenty fast for your os.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*
