5820k pci lane question

Hi everyone,

I am looking at adding a thunderbolt card to my current rig which is running two 780s in sli on a asus x99-s mobo, I know that the 5820k which I have is limited on how many pci lanes, questions is, will this configuration be possible?

28 lanes should be more than enough for 780s sli.But if you want add one more card then it will bottle neck.
