Need help with ECC RAM

Hello there! I am trying to build a cheap NAS for home media and I never quite realized before how much specs on RAM there actualy is besides clock and CL. I would like to pick up some ECC RAM but I found that there is a lot going on in ECC world.

I will be most likely using this motherboard and CPU:

Do I understand correctly that I need Unbuffered ECC RAM in order for it to work? I was trying to look at some used RAM on ebay but they usualy dont list if it is Unbuffered or Buffered they just often say it is Registered which I dont know if it means that it is Buffered or certified to work on most motherboards... I am getting a little bit confused right now :D
