I've got money set aside for my pc rig (currently $750) and im looking for input on some upgrade ideas.  First, i'm going to start off by saying both of my rigs are in my signature.  The upgrades can be for either pc.

1- My first idea is for my gaming rig.  I recently purchased a 980 ti to replace my aging 780 ti.  I have seen a very large improvement and am very happy.  However, with my budget, i could get a second card and sli them in my rig.  I've heard only good things when it comes to sli with these cards so i am highly considering it.

2- My second idea is to do a memory/storage upgrade with a few other pieces that would benefit both of my rigs.  My Gaming rig currenlty has 3 SSD.  1 120gb OS drive and 2 250gb drives in raid 0 for gaming.  I should have enough storage for games, but i dont really have anywhere to put other software and files besides my OS drive which is quickly filling.  So i would probably get at least 1 more ssd for other storage and possibly another ssd to add to the raid 0 for gaming.  Next, my workstation has a 120gb OS drive and 2 hdd, 1 500gb and the other 1tb.  The hdd store things like game servers, virtual machines, raw footage that i haven't dumped to my external storage, etc.  My thought is to get another ssd either 250gb or 500gb for more important files and software, such as video editing software, virtual machine clients, etc.  With the rest of the budget i was thinking of getting a decent quality UPS as well as a new ram kit for my workstation (upgrade 16gb to 32gb).  There may be some extra room in the budget so suggestions would be appreciated here.

3- my last idea doesn't really directly benefit the rigs, but enhances the overall experience.  What i'm saying is, i currently game on a nice monitor: an asus ROG Swift.  My second screen is my retired gaming monitor, an asus 1080p panel with 1ms response time and 60hz refresh.  My second screen is mostly used for my workstation rig, but if i got something like a 4k monitor, i could at the very least have a very nice second screen for my gaming rig, and possibly even play some games on it. This could possibly take up the whole budget but if not, i'm thinking of replacing my logitech g510s for the logitech orion spark or another keyboard.  I love the g510s, but if had it for a few years now and it may be time for a change.

Now i realize, non of the options i suggested are required to make my pc do what it already is doing.  I have a good pc now, i know that.  I don't have to spend more money on it so don't even post if that's all your going to say.  I am an enthusiast, i work with pc's in college, so i don't mind it.  Thanks for any input!

If you have a gaming workstation, RAM is probably something I'd upgrade seeing as you do heavy workloads. For gaming it isn't that important but if you do video editing, rendering and modeling, more RAM will help you in that. A 4k monitor would be good for that second display but since you already have a 1440p gaming monitor, you can get a 5ms 60hz monitor and save money. Storage isn't that expensive so you can budget whatever you want on that. The keyboard isn't that important and can easily be replaced quickly with only $100 budget
