Setting up remote access on windows server essentials 2012

Hi there,

 

I just got windows server and im trying to setup the web interface for it, But i cant seem to find a guide on how to do it, can anyone tell me how?

Is this essentials or R2 essentials ?

 

What type of access would you like ? Remote desktop or the connector software ?

i can change it to r2, but it's currently just essentials, and I can already do Remote Desktop, but I wanted to try and get the web interface working

have not been able to find it, I can't even find a settings tab anywhere

Go to Server Manager, Add Roles & features and "Tick / Enable" Windows Server Essentials Experience.

I could switch to windows server 2012 r2 standard if it would help.

Setup / installation process is very easy.

 

Use a free microsoft address in setup, SOMETHING.remotewebaccess.com. Free SSL cert also.
