I am buying this switch from eBay which doesn't come with a power cord.

I have an extra power cord and wanted to see if it would work with the switch.

That is a standard ATX power cable, it has been used since the dawn of personal computers on 99.999% of PC towers, monitors and printers, and other peripherals.

Yes i will work.

edit: I may have used some hyperbole there, but yes, it is extremely widespread in use.

When in doubt, re-format.

Yep that's safe switches aren't extremely high power draw devices also.

It's a standard plug so yeah, that switch uses a lot less power than a rice cooker  :D
