G402 scroll wheel not always registering

I've been having this issue on and off for the past couple of months since I bought it. Every so often when I'm scrolling down a long page at a constant, medium-ish speed, the scroll wheel sometimes won't register and, if I keep scrolling after that, it will start to register the scrolls about 0.25 secs after I've physically moved the scroll wheel. The remedy I've been using is to simply spam the scroll wheel up and down until it starts to work as normal again. It's a bit frustrating if I'm trying to keep my place in an article etc.

 

Does anyone have a similar issue or a possible fix? Thanks.
