Welcome to the Forums!

For watercooling both your GPU and CPU yes a single 360mm rad would be sufficient for silent cooling, the 140mm might give you a degree or two of difference when on high load but won't make a big difference.

Yes all that looks good however I would suggest to do with a D5 pump if you can fit it within your budget, they are considered to be the gold standard in terms of pumps followed closely by the DDC.

I wouldn't watercool in an H440, the exhaust vents at the top are tiny. It does a much better job cooling a CPU with an air cooler like a Hyper 212 EVO or a Noctua NH-D15 since those coolers push air out the back exhaust. The H440 is designed for silence, not really for performance.

Fractal Define S, Phanteks Enthoo Pro, Corsair 450D/750D are much better designed cases for watercooling if you're trying to push high overclocks. Watercooling a GTX 970 is a waste too unless you're down to do some hardware modding to get past the power limit. Otherwise you're really unlikely to see an overclock limited by temperature on a standard axial fan air cooler like what comes with most aftermarket cards.
