Hello all :D I'm looking for a new graphics card, and I have a variety of options. I currently have a gtx 680 in my system, along with a thermaltake 500w TR2 powersupply with a i7 4770.

Now my 680 maybe a little or a lot faster then these cards I am going to list, but I am looking for something a little less hotter, and quieter ( my 680 runs at like 87 degrees when on load )

** I have the cooling in my case to overclock, and wouldn't mind too**

So currently I can get a HD 7950 3Gb MSI Twin Frozr boost card

a R9 285 Gigabyte OC, or a R9 285 XFX DD

R9 270X Dual X

These cards, ahah. I'm selling my 680 (Maybe) to get one of these!

A 960 performs similar to a 680 and will probably be way cooler. A 970 would be a better option though because it will give you way more performance.

CPU: AMD FX-6300 4GHz @ 1.3 volts | CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO | RAM: 8GB DDR3

Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P | GPU: EVGA GTX 960 SSC | SSD: 250GB Samsung 850 EVO

HDD: 1TB WD Caviar Green | Case: Fractal Design Core 2500 | OS: Windows 10 Home

If you can get a Sapphire R9 285, if you can't, get the Gigabyte one.

If you can find a R9 380 get that, it's a rebranded 285 with up to 4 GB VRAM.

from a 680 (1536 cuda cores) the logical path is up, so your next card need be a 980 (2048 cuda cores)

and from AMD the 7950 (and 7970), R9 280 (and R9 280X), R9 380 (28 Compute Cores) looks good

and the R9 290 (40 Compute Cores) and the R9 390 (40 Compute Cores)

all DX12

APU = A10
