Auto send facebook messages?

Is it possible to send an automated Facebook message to one person every day at the same time without having to log onto Facebook. I hate Facebook for all it's worth and don't want to have to look at the shit on my wall. Basically, my friend always is on Facebook, but I want to talk on Skype. I have been sending the message manually for the last few weeks, but I wondered if there was an easier way to do this? I have checked IFTTT but there is nothing that would work for me. Any help thanks.

 

TL;DR is it possible to auto schedule a message to be sent to someone without me having to log into Facebook.

You might be able to make some kind of script to do it, if you had a app.  Run it using Windows Scheduler and you'd be good to go.

I would not know where to start.What language? Or are you not writing it your self? Maybe Google can help you?!

No, not a spammer. Just one reminder message a day. It would only automate what I am doing now. I'm trying not to write it myself because I am still learning to program and haven't gotten further than quizzes yet.

He means he wants 1 message to be sent automatically every day.

Oh right, well he says reminder message, so he could just go to "repeat every day" option (on iPhone) in the reminders.

No, trying to auto send the message, but only once. Not spam them loads. I also dont have a smartphone. Are there any things that could do this on PC?

and the reminder was what I wanted to send them. Something like "Skype please"

You have to remind your friend to talk to you every day? 

They never check Skype because they only check what comes up with notifications. For some reason Skype doesn't for them. I'm the only one that they speak to on skype, so it's not on top of their list.

I think the closest thing to what you want can be achieved with the "Send Dialog" : 

https://developers.facebook.com/docs/sharing/reference/send-dialog

 

If you want to do it within facebook though (like setting an auto-send in Facebook directly, without having to write your own script) then I don't know as I don't use Facebook.

Yes, but that isn't what he wants to do, so this is as useless as advice goes as when I was told to suck a penis when I asked someone for directions, once.

 

Admittedly, reminders on phones and so on are excellent, if a reminder is what one required.

Yeah, the worst advice I got was from someone who said that there brother is their dad and I should try to do that they said they where from Lincolnshi.... oh wait.

 

Besides, I miss-read the questions and when he said "Just one reminder message a day" it implies that he needs a reminder.....
