Motorola Moto G vs Asus Zenfone 2

Crimson Dog

Specifically

the Moto G 8GB/1GB model and the Asus Zenfone ZE500CL 8GB/2GB model

Specs and comparison (internal for asus is off, it should be 8gb, rest is fine afaik)

http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=7044&idPhone2=7247

They are the same price over here (like 10$ difference, negligible).

What's your experience or take on it?

I'm leaning towards the Asus.

I bought my dad the Moto G, and I recently purchased the Zenfone 2 for myself. If the Zenfone has 1GB more of RAM then get that instead. I like the shape of the Zenfone 2, it's less curvy. I haven't really played around with my dad's Moto G that much.

I have to say that my biasd vote also goes zenfone. All the system apps get updates through the play store bi weekly, and Asus actually is interested in hearing feedback on the apps. I asked them if they could set the flashlight to the yellow, or white tone. The bloatware issue is really over hyped.
