Hello,  I've been getting tired of my laptop which is always crashing and runs games horribly (probably cause the gpu overheats and throttles down) so i asked my parents if i could make myself a desktop they said sure give them a few months to get my parts etc etc and here i am  please consider. i'm only 13 and my parents are paying for all this so i'd like to keep the psu price under 80$ and the case 100$ thanks.

Here's my build

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Y8vG4D

Also when pcpartpicker says

  • Some Intel B85 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Haswell Refresh CPUs. is that useless to me? maybe the bios is already updated if i buy the moba from newegg? i don't know . I'd like a good case for the benifits i could get out of it and the psu i don't know much about but thanks .

oh yeah i'm getting windows 8.1 off reddit if i get scammed it's only 15$ instead of 90$ right hehehe.

also i use a w1907 monitor

The compatibility issue posted by PCPartPicker should not be a problem, most B85 mobos sold online now are manufactured after the release of Haswell Refresh meaning they will have updated BIOSes to support those processors.

I only gave you the case and PSU because that was what you asked and your PCPartPicker link didn't work.

But I would go with @Bob_Jim 's build, it is better in my opinion.

The reasons why i don't want his build is cause he's using such a expensive gpu which has a shit ton more power than what i need

A few $$ Over but IMO a better build (as swapping out the GPU will be cheaper in the long run)

You can make that mobo CPU/RAM last for ages. And your monitor is only a 19" screen so a 390 is a bit overkill.. Also add an HDD down the line.

NB: Only buy the K IF YOU PLAN TO OVERCLOCK

Also you could swap the BX100 for an 850 Evo (250gb) which should give you a tad better mileage... Add an HDD later if you cant afford it...

390 is still just about in the sweetspot; though its definately a higher end card  little way into diminishing returns. His is still a very solid build tho. In games you get far more benefit from GPU than CPU.

Slightly less powerful GPU, an SSD for faster load times and boot times, and all in MITX form factor so it can just sit on your desk.

Ok the things u guys dont understand is that i dont need such a powerful gpu ;-; a Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 2GB Dual-X Video Card would be enough because i only want to run trove, planetside 2 ,warframe at full settings with 40 fps+

Then take pretty much any of our builds and drop the video card.. Honestly though see this...

The R9 380 is the lowest most of us would recommend buying new.... If you are gonna spend less buy a used last gen and save some cash... (Given they are all pretty much tweaked rebrands)

i just don't like the ideas of having an micro atx case or itx because the itx on my desk i can knock it off easily if i trip over something which happens all the time i can simply put them on the ground yes but i want decent airflow for all my parts so spending a bit more money on the case ill easily do  an ssd i want one yes but  im patient with things so i can wait for my system boot up and games etc.

I have that case... it isnt exactly small and I leave mine on the ground....

Honestly it sounds like you have made your mind up of what you want...
