Fan Controller

Hey, just wondering if anyone could direct me toward a fan controller that gives the option of turning fan lights off like in the corsair 500r case.

if you slow down the fan speed then the led would dim too (less voltage is being fed to the entire fan)

you can do that with software fan control too if your motherboard supports it

I didn't know they made software for that. Found a download on Corsair's website that should work. Thanks!

It depends on what fan you have if your bit Bitfenix Pro LED fans they have a separate LED lead you can short to turn on or off the LED where their fan controllers have that as an option but those would be to only fan capable of that option at least to my knowledge.

Your fans would need to have separate power for LEDs. Most don't so you are stuck with dimming effect only. And that means you need to lower fan speeds to get that.
