cpu oc causing artifacts ?

had my cpu at 4.1 and everything was fine

so today i decided to bump it to 4.2 but now im noticing some artifacts in game, so far ive tested one game and its only on certain items, the gpu is at stock, im just wonderin if a cpu oc can cause artifacts

Never heard of, just of crashing the game.

ill try backing down to 4.1 and see if its still hapening if it is then its the game

Are you overclocking through BIOS or a Windows application?

Overclocking should be done through BIOS.
