So first up I would like to say hello, I've been watching the ltt, channel super fun, and techquickie videos for around a year and I occasionally go through the forums and read posts. Also I'm not a complete novice at building computer(put my first one together when I was like 7 or 8) but this is the first computer I am building from parts that I chose and purchased myself. Any others I have built were from parts that my dad had laying around the house. The computer the I currently use the most is a Lenovo Flex 15 with a 1TB drive that I added more recently. Okay, now that the pointless information is over we'll get into the actual useful stuff.

1. Budget & Location
So I'm in California(USA) which means I'll be using the oh so glorious USD(IDK if any currency that's worth a reasonable amount can be more glorious than another, but whatever). My budget is only limited by how long I want to wait to finish it, as I am building it from the money I make working for minimum wage at Dominos.

2. Aim
So, I'll be doing a lot of things with this computer. Mostly I'll probably be gaming(Minecraft, CS:GO, Space Engineers, GameDev Tycoon, maybe Battlefront when it comes out, TF2, If you want to see my steam and see the games I have you can click HERE everything is public(Google already knows everything so whatever  :P ). I will also be using it for programming, I would like to possibly get into game programming but have yet to find the motivation to begin teaching myself. I also would like to record game play on it as I have a YouTube channel, you can see the HERE, I have been working on being able to produce things with a decent amount of quality(I'm slightly obsessive) I have gotten a fairly decent quality XLR mic stand and USB mixer to improve audio quality. That also means that I will be using the rig to edit videos with Adobe premier(I already have Adobe's Creative Cloud). I think that's all, but there isn't anything I won't try to do if I find an interest in it.

3. Monitors
I already have 2 16:9 monitors(one 27" and on 21" or 24") both are 1080P and I do plan on getting a third at some point and upgrading the smaller one.

4. Peripherals
I should have a windows 7 license laying around(probably will recycle the one on my current tower). I already got a Corsair K95 RGB for my Keyboard and a Razer Naga 2014 for my mouse. I may upgrade the mouse to a RGB mouse soon so that I can make the keyboard a color other than green and still have it match, however I don't like the idea of losing the numpad on my mouse.

5. Why are you upgrading?
Well considering gaming on a laptop kinda sucks and the poor little tower with a Core 2 Duo E7500, 2GB of DDR2 ram, and a GT640 has been through a lot and is quite slow in comparison the the laptop. By been through a lot I mean I may have bricked the original install of windows 7(like completely unrecoverable) and in general is just kinda outdated.

HERE is a link to the pcpartpicker setup I have so that you can see what I have planned and what I already have. You can leave comments on there as well if you would like. For those of you that dont want to click on the link here is this:

A few side notes, one graphics card is a Windforce GTX770 with 2GB of VRAM and the other is the Zotac. Also the wireless card is because Ethernet is not a very feasible option.

Thank you for reading, as well as for any input you provide.

Ya, I'm not 100% on that cooler either, any suggestions for a better AIO that's less than 100$

H100i is $103

Anything else you would recommend? I do plan on overclocking(or at least trying to) so if you can think of any really good air coolers I wouldn't be opposed. However, i would like to stay below $100.

Cryorig R1 or Noctua NH-D15 :) . Should be able to find them under $100 somewhere.

I think Im going to go the the Cryorig, as its a bit cheaper and I like the looks better.

Ohh yeahhh :D

Also, it's up to you about the power supply. I've got an RM750 and it's been completely fine with no problems. ;)

About the RM.. ah its 50:50 - there are reports of its build quality being poor and it having issues in hot climates

but there are also great reviews of it and I have one and its fine

that said for the same money if you can get one without any reported issues then its a good idea

After a bit of thinking I decided to upgrade to the 2011-3 socket and an xeon core(may change to an i7 later if I decide that I want to spend a little more). Has 16GB of ddr4 now, and total is around 100$ more. I'll update the PC part picker when I get home after work. Any other comments, questions, or opinions?
