Does Low Hard Drive Cache Speed Affect Gaming Performance?

I ask this because everything in my PC is very high end except for the hard drive.

 

System Specs: 

CPU: i7 4790k @ 4.0ghz

GPU: NVIDIA GTX 970 SC ACX 2.0 

RAM: 16GB DDR3 @ 1600mhz

OS:  Windows 7 Ultimate

No. Just no. Overall read speed will affect loading times but not performance.

Not really.. You're never really going to have a cache big enough that it would actually affect performance.

loading times maybe. but unless it is ssd cache like in hybrid where some assets that are frequently used are stored on it, it wont make much difference.

Really..? I'm scared to see what you consider high end.. It's definitely strong enough to max anything out right now.

Thanks for your reply though. I do understand it affects loading times, but was just curious to know if it affects anything fps wise, but with these replies it's quite blatant that it doesn't.

Max's it out at 1080p, need to remember at higher resolutions that 970 is going to choke.

 

I only consider my build middle-high.
