The Perfect Desk.

First I just want to say that I'm not showing you the perfect desk, this is more of a question. My father is a master carpenter and he has agreed to build me my first custom desk, so I got to thinking why not take this opportunity to make THE PERFECT DESK. This desk will span 10 feet (3.048 meters) across my room. My question is, if you got to make your dream desk what would you get? (depth, height, cable management options, ect.). I'm looking to do a 3+1 monitor set up and I do still have my Xbox 360 and one to manage.

the current list of dead cards is as follows 2 evga gtx 980ti acx 2.0 , 1 evga gtx 980 acx 2.0 1600mhz core 2100mhz ram golden chip card ... failed hardcore , 1 290x that caught fire , 1 hd 7950 .

Usb hub and sata drive on the bottom of the desk. Led lights. put the pc in the desk with glass. Also xbox on the bottom of the desk?

My perfect desk would be a simple L shaped design that has cable management. Also, it would be made out of mahogany. Height is a preference thing because not everyone is the same height.

it would probably be similar in size and layout to my current one(which i built) but much more refined than what i have now with better cable management.

Desktop -  i5 4670k, GTX 770, Maximums VI Hero, 2X Kingston Hyper X 3k in raid zero.

Laptop - Lenovo X230 Intel 535 480GB, 16GB Gskill memory, Classic Keyboard Mod, Triple USB 3.0 Express Card.

Cherry wood with a golden oak stain. Pull out trays behind door on one side, file drawers on the other.. Wide 3" drawer to house keyboard and mouse, front of that drawers folds down into wrist rest. Raised monitor platform with speaker mounts. Monitor platform is high enough with an open space beneath it to stash physical media. 

 

Standard desk height is 30", I'd personally want around 16-18" between the monitor platform and front of desk. 

 

I wouldn't recommend actually putting your PC case inside the desk as it will be starved for air, unless you plan on putting intake fans in the desk itself. Also you'd have to put some grommets in the back to run your cords through.
