Being the nosey person I am, and after watching the moving videos, I was wondering what OS's they use on their servers?  I'm sure I saw Windows 2012 server on one of them?

I believe they are all running some version of windows server with different programs running over them to control everything.

I think they are running Windows Server 2012.

 

Linus mentioned it in some video.

Their in-house servers run 2012 R2 Standard. Not sure how they got it, it costs $800. The site is probably hosted on a Linux server.

Considering what they do and considering the fact that they don't really have someone that manages the network, they probably just have Windows all over the place for anything including servers .

Security server is running some custom made stuff. I would say its based on Linux, but hard to tell since its purchased as service.

We're running a mix of Windows and Linux stuff depending on the purpose.
