windows 10 is not activating

Did you attempt to activate a Preview build after installation or did you upgrade and it fails to activate?

I haven't gotten my upgrade yet, but I think from what my friends tell me is that you get a new windows 10 key sent to your email during the install or something, but I know you get a new key.

 

when i check the part of the key for windows 10 it is different from my windows 8.1 key

do you mean you haven't got the notification ..or you mean you aren't gonna download it it yet?

cause it can just manually download it

I'm not sure I'm still waiting for my upgrade to come. I just built a new pc with 8.1 like two weeks ago so I think im at the back of the line for upgrade for windows 10.

thats not how it works

if you haven't got the notification

then its screwy

 

just download it manually and do the upgrade from a usb

Do you know where I can download the windows 10 file to install to a USB drive. I would like to do a fresh install.

Well shit I wish you replied faster haha. I just installed windows 10 install to a USB and deleted my Raid 0 aswell before I went to install. I just learned you don't have TRIM in Raid 0 so I deleted that. Oh well now I gotta install 8.1 to my USB again and then install 8.1 and then click on your link. Oh well learning is fun!

haha it's ok not your fault. Got windows 10 up and running my onboard audio went to shit with the upgrade so now I'm just trying to find an amp / dac solution.

you just need the right drivers

I have an evga x99 classified if that helps. It uses the sound blaster recon3Di. Let me know if that's not the correct answer.

 

Edit: Whats weird is that when I built the pc you know how you have the HD audio you plug into your mobo that comes with the case. So I get way better audio when I plug my headphone and mic jack into the front of my pc instead of directly into the mobo like in the back using the green and pink slots.

Yeah but that one only says for Windows 7/8/8.1 (32/64bits) I got windows 10 now.

10 drivers are basically 8.1 drivers
