And for the motherboard I do have a z97 one because I'm planning on upgrading the cpu and the cooler as well as the case.

anyways thanks!

i think it is a waste of money if you are gonna spend money on another CPU

if you are swapping out soon

go for the i3 first then i7

how much do the Skylake cost in Auzzy?

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Why windows 8.1? Why not just get Windows 10 from the get go?

Also, will you really use that DVD drive? I personally haven't used mine in months now... But well, I guess it's cheap and it could come in handy... one day...

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x16GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Bazzite

Are you planning to overclock? - If so you will need a K Series chip....

Agree with Ronnie - Swap out the cooler. Personally Id go with something like a Noctua NH-L12 (But check it fits).

Do you men you already have that motherboard or you are now buying it?

Do yourself a favor and get an external DVD drive unless you actually use it a ton. Its way more useful :). As for 8.1 vs 10, get whatever is cheaper and upgrade to 10 if you want to (just be aware of all the privacy flaws).

Sky lake would probably be out of my budget, and if I do end up changing the cpu I can keep it for another build. but thanks!

I probably will use the dvd a fair bit, and I'm planning on getting windows 8.1 and getting some drivers that can only work on windows 8 then upgrade to 10 because I had a problem on my laptop with that. and no I don't own the motherboard, I made a typo. but thanks!

I dont think you need the extra cooler for cpu since it cant be overclocked

I changed it to a 4590, which can turbo UK to 3.7ghz I think..? cooler is also a be quiet! pure rock which performs the same as the 212 but its quieter.. also changed the case to the phanteks enthoo pro cause its future proof for me
