Is the Asrock z97 anniversary a good choice? Or the Asus Z97-P  or MSI z97-g43??

What brand r9 390?? Sapphire? XFX ?

Also, thinking of not buying ssd, so i have more money to get a better case and psu, i will pick on up in about a month.

Get an MSI GPU.

CPU: I7 4790k  CPU Cooler: NH-D15 GPUMSI 970 4gb   Motherboard: z97 Gaming 5 PSU: Corsair hx850   Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8 gb  SSD: Samsung 850 Evo  Case: Air 540

I would stick with Asus, MSI or Gigabyte for the Motherboard.

For the R9 390 then Sapphire are fine, along with MSI and Gigabyte.

Get either an MSI Gaming, Sapphire Nitro, or PowerColor PCS+ if you wanna save a bit of money. The sacrifice of an SSD for a better case and PSU is a VERY good idea. Get the ASUS Z97-P, better than the MSI Z97-G43 and much better than the Asrock Z97 Anniversary.

whats the price difference on the asrock, msi and asus motherboards??

I would go with Sapphire between the two. or an EVGA or MSI if you can find one.

an SSD isnt really that important if you dont care about speed, a month isnt that long anyway.

Get an MSI GPU.

Good call on the 212 evo, I have one cooling my FX-8350 and it does a great job (chip is known for running on the warmer side). Also my ASUS graphics card is ridiculous fast, if you're unsure of a brand I would recommend them.

Went for a sapphire r9 390, MSI z97s sli krait edition , corsair carbide 200r , crucial balistix 8gb 1600 , i5 4690K, seasonic m12 II 520 evo

PowerColor is also surprisingly good for the 390 in particular. Tests show 68C load max temps, and the Factory OC is not too bad. The only problem is that their fan curve at stock is questionable, but changeable with MSI Afterburner (as in, 40C idle, VERY QUIET, and 68C load, quite loud). I would turn the fans up a bit at idle and down a bit at load.

The  R9 290/X PCS+ cards were very good. I don't know if they do them in the R9 390/X versions as I haven't really looked.

Should be getting samsung evo 850 120/250 gb and evo 212 cpu cooler in about a month too :) already have HDD and optical drive

Try and get a 250GB SSD as a 120GB will fill up in no time. I would also do a clean install of windows onto the SSD when you get it.

Hey there qLoxZy<3,

Just a small note from me: If you are reusing the WD Blue from an old build, I would strongly recommend to run a diagnostic tool to check the drive's health and verify that it's safe to store your data on your new build. I would recommend using WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostic tool for the WD Blue: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=fJW4Qm
Run both the quick and the extended tests in order to check the drive's S.M.A.R.T. status and for any bad sectors that might have occurred on the platters. :)
