1. Budget & Location
4-6K USA

2. Aim
I'm aiming for an almost pure gaming setup to run rpgs and simulators alike at high to the best settings (pretty sure those can run word/check emails/youtube) if I can stream on twitch/skype family friends it would be cool too.

3. Monitors

3 monitors. 1080p is cool but if a case is made for 4k I'm all ears.

4. Peripherals
keyboard, mouse, screens need to be included (viable mounts too please) and Windows 8 OS

5. Why are you upgrading?

I'm not really upgrading? Well, I am. I have a dell Inspiron laptop for school with vista (lord help me) and would really like to get away from that. But, honestly I've always wanted a gaming rig like the ones I've seen folks use on youtube so I've saved up for a long while to set up my room with one. Would really appreciate the help and thought yall put into these builds. I got 3 brothers who aren't gamers but can ejoy it and my oldest used to play flight sim games in like the late 80's I want to show him how far they've come. Mind you I'm not tech savy so modding bios overclocking may be out of my limits but i'm good with my hands so building may not be to bad. Custom sleeving/colors can be an after thought as I'd just like the $ to go to the system being

functioning etc.

thanks

I find 3-4k overkill for a gaming build, but if you want to spend the money then why not.

Went with the new skylake shit.

Was going to stick to one 980 ti, but if you're gonna do 3 monitors then 2 gpus might be required.

only went with wifi adapter if needed.

By 8.1 pro from g2a or reddit for $25 then do a free clean install of 10 pro

Just something I threw together quick. I don't know monitors though so feel free to fix those. The rest of the build should be pretty sick though.

Also a 5960x even for this price point is a stupid waste. And if you are ok with 1080p ips monitors on surround I don't think there is a point to going with the 700 dollar range ones.

Why windows 8.1?

This is overkill btw.

Wanted Windows 8 because I used it on my brothers PC and on some comps at work and if anything it's better than Vista. Also I'm not used to 10 heck haven't even used it yet. I also understand the price point may bring about overkill pc's but that's fine I don't treat myself to much in the gaming aspectand wanted to setup something, Also it's not just the PC but periferrals and such going into it that will rack up those prices.

Thanks for the input
