OnePlus Two USB Type-C

I know USB Type-C can carry DisplayPort. But does the OnePlus Two? Could I potentially make an app to use the screen as another display on my PC? Or since (iirc) it's USB 2.0 with a type-c connector that doesn't actually carry displayport it's just a cool new plug?

 

I can't wait until we are getting fully featured USB Type-C on things, more options, more functionality, let me know.

I dont think its the full usb type-c support. Its probably just got enough pins to charge and data transfer.

Even if it was, I would expect it to be like a laptop. It can send signal just not accept it.

That's really too bad.

I think you're mistaken. USB 3.1 likely has DisplayPort support.

Type C is simply the connector at the end of the cable.
