Intel RST cant set up raid

I cant figure out how to set up a raid with intel rst:/

 

any help?

Case:- 4U Rack Mount Case | Cooler:- Antec Kuhler H600 | CPU:- Intel i5 4690K @ 4.50GHz | GPU:- Zotac GeForce GTX 970 4GB AMP! Try setting up the RAID array in BIOS/EFI, then you can manage it afterwards in RST

but dosnt it need to be set to ahci for my ssd boot drive?

Try setting up the RAID array in BIOS/EFI, then you can manage it afterwards in RST

Intel recommends choosing RAID mode on their motherboards (which also enables AHCI) rather than AHCI/SATA mode for maximum flexibility

 

I found this quote so if this info is correct then there is no issue with setting my windows 10 clean install up using raid and just install os as normal
