Not sure about Twitch, but this is YouTube's new design

That is the new YouTube.  That has been in closed beta fora while, apparently it is not released, as for twitch I don't know.

It's the new YouTube video layout, I personally find it much better than the one before it.

Twitch is roalling out HTML5 for their player. (finaly)

But for now only the controls are HTML5, the videostream remains Flash for now but that should be changed in the future.
