Hello everyone, I need some help to finish building my new gaming pc!

Processor: Intel Core i7-6700K

Motherboard: Asus Maximus VIII Hero

Memory: Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB DDR4

Graphics Card: Asus STRIX GeForce 980Ti 6GB

SSD: Intel 730 Series 240GB

HDD: Western Digital 1TB Black Edition
Case: Lian Li PC-O7

Still need:

I'm from Italy, the purpose of this build is gaming and occasionally streaming some content. I would like to run games in pretty high definition and maybe 4K, my budget is around 3000 euros but I could spend a little more for a good monitor.

Thanks everyone for their help :D

Is there a reason it's so high end? You don't need a 6700K for gaming, a 6600K will do just fine. Also the DCUIII cooler isn't all that great on that 980 Ti.

Do you think the ZOTAC 980Ti is better?

Honestly I would go for EVGA or Gigabyte.

Is something wrong with the STRIX?

Just because it's for gaming doesn't mean you need such an expensive motherboard.

I wanted a motherboard that could last a long time and still have good performance, I don't mind spending 100 euros more so it won't need an upgrade in the future

That's just overpriced, it's not going to provide any more useful features than a $150 board.

Yes but you don't need an expensive motherboards, they don't make a single difference whether they're advertised as a gaming one or not. Just get something like a ASUS Z170 A or MSI gaming one which is cheaper they are all solid motherboards spending past a certain won't benefit you in any way it's just you paying for the brand

okay, i know that but you're overspending on that motherboard

you could get a cheaper z170 motherboard that will perform EXACTLY the same

the same thing applies to the ram

i'm just trying to help you save some money which you could spend on a bigger ssd for example, which would actually hekp you
