Worried about MOBO+GPU

Guys I'm just wondering if I will be able to install a vaporx 280x on my h81m-p33 v2 cause looking at that mobo it seems impossible to me.

This would be my first build and I want to be sure everything is OK.

Theres 1 blue PCIE slot what more do you need the card should work fine with that motherboard. only way it wouldent work is if your case was too small or you have the long PCIe slot filled with something else.

Remove the current GPU, and put the 280x in the blue PCIe slot.

It'll be a fairly tight fit. The Vapor X model with the backplate might touch the ram slot clips.

Sry if I didn't make it clear. I mean that looking at the pcie slot it seems too close to the ram slots and I know that the vaporx 280x is One of the biggest cards to fit in. This is what I'm concerned about

Yeah exactly, and I wonder if that 3 fan huge GPU will fit into the mobo without giving me trouble with the RAM slots

It will be tight. If anything the gpu heatsink will be right above the tip of the ram clips.

No, your RAM slots are above where the GPU would sit.

Do you mean that I won't be able to use the 280x?

Let me try again,

No, you wont have anything to worry about.  The Video card will sit just below where the RAM will sit out.

Thanks man, I knew for sure that the classic h81m-33p worked fine with the 280x but at the last secondo I went with the v2 cause I needed the usb3 header and only now I realize that there are a couple of differnces. I was really worried

I hope that the GPU will sit without any problem.
