MSI 990FXA-GD65 V2 Motherboard ?

my current system is Cpu - 8350 , Ram - 1600 Mhz crossair vengeance ,  Motherboard - GA970A DS3 REV 1.1 , PSU - 500W Cooler master thunder , Gpu - 7870 Ghz edition saphire , Hardisk - 1 Tb Samsung SATA , Case - elite 310 'standard' by Cooler master and cpu cooler - 212 evo !

so i am replacing my current psu and motherboard  to  MSI 990FXA-GD65 V2 Motherboard and Seasonic S12II 620 Watts

as both old mobo and psu suck :l and my pc died alot >.> and it takes ages to rma every part

so question is that is this motherboard ok ? as i heard msi has very bad vrm's though i will not be overclocking i am concerned as temperatures here are very bad around 35 c room temp and 45c idle temp for cpu with 212 evo and 80 c while playing games >.> hopefully it will decrease with this new motherboard ? what are ur thoughts about temp decreasing as i think the only reason it ran this hot was because  my old board is 4+1 and has bad vrm it ran my ram on 1333 mhz if i oc-ed it would increase temps 9c - 10 c q.q .... so i used to run it on 1333 mhz as 90 c woah i do not want to melt anything

also  is this good enough ? every other board is very high priced and this is the only msi board which has 990 chipset comes in my range and has 8+2 phase or atleast i think it does >.< please confirm this

also will it run my ram ? is it in qvl list ? i use CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9 *x2 i use two of these* will it run it on 1600 mhz by default as old board ran it on 1333 mhz and if i oced on auto setting it wont let me and wont boot <,< unless i did manually and u know the rest bad temps

also does it support 8350  officially ? and my 7870 ghz edition ?

does it have uefi bios the new one which looks cool and is easier to use and can be controlled by bios ? as my old board said it had dual uefi bios but when i booted it ... it had old shit bios

can i oc on it if i get a better cooler ? is the new psu also fine for oc-ing needs ?

i would have checked most of the above my self but its not on msi india page >.> for some god forsaken reason

also the only cons i found in this motherboard or i think it has are

its from msi and it has no front usb 3.0 support

i was gonna buy 970 gaming before but it has even shitter vrm's or at-least i heard :L

so should i go for it >?

also before u suggest other boards asus , gigabyte does not have any nice boards in the same price range there is a vast difference of 62 $ which i do not have >.>

also i am getting this board for 141 $ before u say anything note i live in india and i searched online alot this was the best price i could find for this board

You only really need 990FX if you want SLI support. If you don't need SLI save your money and go for a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P, it's one of the best AM3+ boards for your money. It can support 8350 overclocked as it has the same high-end 8+2 phase VRMs as more expensive Gigabyte boards.

What about M5A97 R2.0?

It is only a 4+2, nowhere near as good as the 8+2 on the UD3P.

If upgrading to a 990fx, then dont buy one from msi, they have bad vrm's, i have used one, and I know other people who have used one they really burn them. Go with asus or gigabyte

MSI Z97 Gaming 5 | I5-4690k| Dark Rock Pro 3 | ASUS RX480 |  Kingston HyperX Beast 8GB | Samsung 850 EVO 250Gb|

   Playstation Pulse Headset Corsair Air 540 | Deiog DY-200 | AOC G2460Fq

It's good, but don't expect to OC well as the UD3P.

I did not use the 990fx, but the msi 970 gaming mobo, i had a fx4100 onto it, which was overclocked to 4.6ghz, i enden up frying the shit out of the motherboard

From the research I have done the ASUS M5A97 and Gigabyte UD3P are the best 970 chip set boards, I was going to get a 990FX series board but heard VRM problems through the roof with them temperature wise. I guess I will let you know when I get my M5A97 and see what I can get with my 6300 temperature and clock speed wise :)

Your not going to get that far in OC...........

All I want is to get to 4Ghz, i'm sitting at 3.9 on my gigabyte 78lmt-usb3 and 4Ghz works but not 100% stable. I also mainly got it for the extra PCI lane for my SCSI raid card :P

It's not that hard to get to 4GHZ on a 6300, it would be harder on a 83xx as i downvolted .08v.

Awesome good to know :D I heard the chipset gets kind of hot on this board? I do have a hyper T4 with a Noctua NF-12 right above the heat sink so hopefully that helps with pulling the heat away if that is the case.
