Folding at Home is a program where people can donate their computer's extra processing power to be used by researchers studying protein folding. Depending on how much processing power you donate, you get a certain amount of points. You can join teams (like the LTT folding team) to do even more.

 

7 Billion points is a lot.. LTT is in 16th place.
