4k monitors with 75hz and up

Not sure why anyone wouldn't care about 75Hz though... it is a VERY noticeable difference in my experience. You'd also think with so many people jumping on the 4K bandwagon, a manufacturer would seize the opportunity to overclock a 4K panel and clean up! This has to be the most obvious business move in the history of tech, so why hasn't anyone done it?! 4K has been the buzzword for ages now. After all, it's EXACTLY what Acer/AUO have done with their curved 1440p IPS panel... take a 60Hz panel and overclock the living sh*t out of it to achieve 100Hz with the upcoming X34 G-Sync and slap a $1500+ price tag on it!!

"DisplayPort 1.2a systems today can support 4K displays at 60Hz refresh and full 30-bit 4:4:4 color (non-chroma subsampled)"

That might be where the extra bandwidth goes.

Right :) 30-bit requires an extra 25% bandwidth, so you could spend that on going from 60Hz to 75Hz at 24-bit color instead :)

4K is overhyped and shit, get a 1440P 144hz IPS monitor  :)

Open your eyes and break your chains. Console peasantry is just a state of mind.

MSI 980Ti + Acer XB270HU
