Asus xonar in your price range is the way to go  ;)

Sooo, the asus xonar dsx? But does it have good audio and a good amp.

So, I am in the planning stages of a new rig. And I noticed the Diffence in price between a ud3h and asus hero is $50, and the only real diffrence in performance in the better on bourd audio on the hero. For $50 can I get a good soundcard that is BETTER then the hero onboard audio. And what sound card would that be. Preferably pci-e based with amp.

Double check everything, I am usually wrong.

a fiio e10 is a better route than a soundcard.

Will work for electronic components and parts
