Go to solution Solved by Guest Johnny5g,

This is the best i could come up with. Skylake is pretty expensive bro, in my opinion stick to a 4690k or something.PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchantCPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($274.99 @ Amazon)CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler  ($25.98 @ OutletPC)Motherboard: MSI Z170A PC MATE ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($119.99 @ Newegg)Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory  ($60.99 @ Newegg)Storage: A-Data Premier Pro SP600 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($49.99 @ Newegg)Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($49.99 @ NCIX US)Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 380 4GB Video Card  ($234.98 @ SuperBiiz)Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case  ($49.99 @ Micro Center)Power Supply: Cooler Master VSM 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($69.99 @ Newegg)Total: $936.89Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when availableGenerated by PCPartPicker 2015-08-06 22:37 EDT-0400

ok thanks!

hello i am going to get $750 USD after a sale i made and i am working on making a build log. so i want to use the money to make this build log posable. i do have a few requirements,

1) in clues windows 7 or 10

2) no case

3) doesn't have the stock cooler ( i don't like stock coolers)

4) it has a good price:performance ratio.

i also have a preference that is not required,

it runs intel's new skylake series processors.

thanks!

What do you plan on using as a case then? Something you already own?

Also, don't forget to follow your topics :)

I'm honestly struggling to fit all those needs in that budget. You need DDR4 (pricy), a Z170 board (lowest I found was $115), and the 6600k which isn't cheap. Here's what I came up with.

Price breakdown by merchant: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2vK8Bm/by_merchant/

CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($274.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler  ($25.98 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($114.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory  ($66.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($49.99 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 770 2GB TWIN FROZR Video Card  ($284.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: Corsair CX 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($73.98 @ Newegg)
Other: Windows 7/8.1/10 ($20.00)
Total: $911.91
