My friend wanted a computer for a long time, he first picked up a macbook pro almost 4 years ago and now its basically useless for gaming. Since he isn't so much of a tech guy he gave me 1500 dollars(Canadian Currency) for a build.

NOTE: It has to come with a monitor, wifi card, mouse, and headset. Overclocking is not required as he is quite bad with these type of stuff, obviously I can do it for him but it's not convenient.

Here is the build now

Does the cpu bottleneck the gpu? Right now I'm just experimenting with the build to see how far I can cheap out with the cpu.

drop the 390 for 290.

u need an I5.

get a samsung SSD they are more reliable

do u really need a wireless adaptor?? u can either get a cheap one or go wires which is a much better solution.

Try getting an ASUS motherboard for again better reliability.

Also look into desktop mic with headphones like a  snowball + headphones.

Cheaping out on the CPU is gonna create more problems than it solves.

You should be able to build something around a 4690k within that price range.

If anything buy a cheaper graphics card and then upgrade it in the future.
