Hi All,

I had the Windows 10 update pushed to me last night so decided to roll with it and let the process complete, but it now seems to be causing a few issues.

Just for examples certain games just will not work properly now, i tried to play GTA V this afternoon and it this would not launch (something to do with social club or some gumph), so i tried to play Watchdogs, this launched but crashed as soon as i entered a vehicle.

Most of my games including GTA V & Watchdogs are bought but I do have one or two pirated games that i wanted to try before buying like ETS 2, i don't hold much hope for these working after reading Win10 can actually disable pirated games & software now. - http://www.myce.com/news/windows-10-updates-can-disable-pirated-games-and-unauthorized-hardware-76883/

Come to think of it had issues just getting the drivers to install for my GPU and getting GeForce Experience to work properly too...

All of these games and software's worked fine on my previous OS (Windows 7 Home Premium - 64 Bit), anyone else experienced any issues?

I feel you pain......My system's OC was stable, this includes RAM, CPU and GPU, games ran well on win10 pro but a few key issues such as the many internet issues i have had has forced me to go back to win7 until i work out the internet issues on another machine.

Some of the internet issues i had were....

  1. could not create a homegroup
  2. could not adjust internet registry parameters permanently, they kept being reset randomly causing lag spikes
  3. Nvidia's drivers were not responsive as it was on win7, control panel kept crashing.
  4. Some software malfunctioned even though they have win8/8.1 drivers and Microsoft has stated those drivers will be fine...they are obviously not. I feel though it is the manufacture's fault and not Microsoft's

I also tried installing win10 via a fresh install but the issues still happened. I do however like the general feel of the OS and will install it again if/when i get to edit my parameters without any issues.

For now, forget GeForce Experience, until at least Nvidia next drivers.

What I suggest you do, is install Nvidia's latest drivers, but go under Adanced, and not Express, in the setup, uncheck Vision 3D stuff, and GeForce Experience.

Then check the box to do a clean install (important). Once done restart your system, and now try.
